NC Wilkinsons Ltd publishes educational materials written by Charlotte Wilkinson under the Wilkie Way® trademark in New Zealand.
Charlotte Wilkinson is the author of 25 published works for Pearson Education NZ (Pearson Primary Maths and Pearson Mathematics – copies available for purchase from this website). Charlotte is also the author of Pearson Mathematics for Pearson New Zealand. She has also written for Pearson UK and Maskew Millar Longman in South Africa.
She has a B.Ed(Hons) degree specializing in the teaching of primary mathematics and has completed further study in mathematics teaching and learning. Combined with 20 years classroom experience and 5 years as a Numeracy Advisor working on the NZ Numeracy Project for the University of Waikato School Support Services, Charlotte has the expertise to design materials to support teachers and provide appropriate learning experiences.
She has presented at a number of mathematics conferences around NZ.
She also spends time working as a private consultant to a variety of educational institutions.In addition to writing, presentation and consultancy work, Charlotte now edits materials written by serving teachers for subsequent publication under the Wilkie Way® trademark. In return, the authors receive a remuneration on a royalty basis.
