About Agoge Parkers

Agoge Parkers Ltd was established in 1997 as an NZQA registered and accredited private training establishment. The company has changed it's name to Agoge Parkers Ltd following a joint venture agreement signed between Agoge Ltd & Parkers Ltd in late 2008. (PTE) The PTE specialises in working direct with individual companies and Industry Training Organisations (ITO'S) to provide: Our training programmes are tailored to meet the needs of individuals, companies and ITO's and are especially suited to working in with modern apprenticeship schemes. Agoge Parkers Ltd uses only quality tutors and is committed to providing quality learning experiences set in meaningful contexts to the course participants.

Charlotte Wilkinson

B.Ed(Hons), NC Adult Education & Training(Level 5)

Is a qualified teacher and has been involved in the training of adults since 1983, firstly at the University of Exeter then more recently at the University of Waikato as a numeracy project facilitator and the beginning teacher professional development co-ordinator. Charlotte is now a private education consultant, specialising in adult training in numeracy teaching & learning, communication skills, training of trainers and coaching. She also writes numeracy material for Pearson Companies world wide.

She is the author of the Pearson Mathematics and Pearson Primary Maths series used widely in NZ schools. (available for purchase from this website). She is also the co-ordinating author for the foundation phase of the One Africa Numeracy Project (a joint South Africa and UK initiative for Sub – Saharan Africa).

She continues to write and publish numeracy books and resource materials for the teaching of numeracy which are marketed under the registered trademark “The Wilkie Way”. The materials are also currently produced and sold in the UK. They are also available through this website.


Nigel Wilkinson

B.Sc (Hons), P.G.C.E, NC Adult Education & Training(Level 5), NC in Driving (Training & Assessment)

Is a qualified teacher and experienced adult trainer. He has been involved with workplace assessment and adult training since 1980, in outdoor education fields, as a scuba diving instructor, and as a tutor constable, traffic division, Devon and Cornwall Police Force. He is now a private education consultant specialising in adult training in assessment and moderation, driving skills, communication skills, training and coaching. He was previously a workplace assessor for tranzqual ito.
