Unit Standard 4098 - use standards to assess candidate performance
This unit standard is normally the minimum requirement for workplace assessors to assess unit standards for a particular industry. It covers preparing for assessment, conduct assessment and complete assessment administration.

For trainees who already have background knowledge of the principles of assessment (for example qualified teachers) 4098 can be achieved in a single day.
Assessment for 4098 requires the trainee to carry out two assessments in their workplace which must be submitted to Agoge Parkers Ltd to assess competency in unit standard 4098.
Unit Standard 11281 - prepare candidates for assessment
Course covers preparation of a candidate for the assessment process & determination of the candidates readiness for assessment.
This unit is normally combined in the unit standard 4098 course.
Unit Standard 11552 - design assessment
Achievement of unit standard 4098 is strongly recommended before training for unit standard 11552.

Assessment for 11552 requires the trainee to design two assessments for two different unit standards with a combined total of at least 6 credits using a range of at least three different assessment methods. The assessment documentation must be submitted to Agoge Parkers Ltd to assess competency in unit standard 11552.
Unit Standard 11551 - moderate assessment
This standard covers the moderation and verification of assessment decisions together with associated administtration.

NOTE: NZQA recommend that candidates should hold unit standard 4098 (Use standards to assess candidate performance) and unit standard 11552 (Design assessment) before undertaking this standard.
Unit standard 18203 - verify evidence for assessment for candidate
Persons credited with this standard arre able to plan a verification process, verify candidate evidence produced and complete related documentation.

Assessment for 18203 requires the trainee to carry out one verification for two different unit standards. Assessment documentation must be submitted to Agoge Parkers Ltd to assess competency in unit standard 18203. |
